That’s why choosing the right wedding photographer is so important. They should go above and beyond: a wedding photographer who feels more like a friend than a service provider, who adds to the intimacy of your small wedding, and who treats your day like a work of art.

It would be my pleasure to offer this level of service for your intimate Bay Area wedding. Let’s begin.

Your wedding is going to be so magical.

And you should be able to relive that magic over and over again.

“Torrey photographed both my engagement and wedding day, and she captured every moment perfectly. Looking over our photos we laugh and cry at the same time, because when you look at the work you fall in love all over again. It's candid, unique, beautiful, and fun ... nothing is staged, it's all as real as you can get.”

I’ll be by your side for up to 9 hours on your wedding day, capturing every moment as you get ready, say your vows, and dance the night away.

Let’s chat details, like where you’re planning on tying the knot, what date you’re eyeing, and how many guests you’re hoping to invite. We’ll get to know each other, just like dating, and if sparks fly we’ll move forward with signing a contract and leaving a deposit. You can expect me to check in once every few months until wedding day so I can help you plan portraits and the overall timeline for your special day.

Let loose and enjoy your wedding day knowing that I’ll be there to capture it all. We’ll take some intimate portraits guided by natural posing, but the rest of the day I’ll be your second set of eyes, capturing digital memories of every detail you’ve spent months planning.

While you’re enjoying your honeymoon, I’ll be enjoying editing your full gallery. I always start by singling out the favorites and adjusting them for lighting and exposure. Your final gallery will be ready in eight weeks, and full of color and black and white photographs alike.

The Process

“Our engagement shoot felt like hanging out with a dear friend, and she helped us feel incredibly relaxed and present during our wedding, especially in crazy moments. She is so awesome about prompting you to pose in particular ways that she knows will look good in a very natural and not forced way. She truly captured the feeling and the magic of the day and we love re-living it all through the pictures whenever we look at them.”

Every day when I walk into my living room, I see a framed photo of my husband and me at our wedding, and I smile. We were married in 2018 in a small Northern California beach town and that one photo brings all of the sensations of our wedding day rushing back. I want that same experience for you, too. That’s why I push myself at each wedding to not only capture the big moments, but the little in-between moments too, so you can remember each breath like it was yesterday.

Pop the Question!

I’m sure you have excellent taste and I don’t want to cramp your style, so please wear something you feel fabulous in. If you’re worried about you and your partner’s outfits clashing, I recommend sticking with neutral colors.

Absolutely. I’m based in Marin County and serve the greater San Francisco area, but am happy to travel to your wedding venue beyond the Bay Area, too. Please contact me to discuss the specifics of your venue, as fees can vary depending on distance, lodging, and other travel logistics.

I guarantee gallery delivery in four weeks for engagement sessions and eight weeks for weddings. In both cases, though, you’ll receive a few sneak peeks within just a few days of the session. I can’t wait for you to see how gorgeous you look!
